I’ve been in aviation for over 39 years and to me it was very refreshing to finally see the walkaround added to a flight simulator. I can guarantee you this, no pilot who cares for his life and the lives of his passengers would ever start his or her flight without a complete walkaround being accomplished. Having said that if there are those who just are totally aginst the walkaround being forced upon them, Microsoft could simply add a checkbox under “REALISM” for the walkaround. If it’s unchecked the the pilot will spawn inside their flightdeck with the parking brake on, engine covers, chocks, and pitot static port covers removed. Easy Peasy. Now shall I tackle.world.peace?
