After initial installation, I try to play the simulator and I am connected to the Content Manager. I am told I need to download 91 GB of patches. The process begins and keeps getting hung up when I have 59.97 GB of download remaining. The app closes, and when I reopen it it brings up that figure and I stay in “please wait” mode…forever. what the heck!!!
I have the same problem: After the initial installation, the System stay in “please wait” mode…forever.
Some one can help me with this?
This issue seems to occur when something goes wrong with a given package during the download and decompression stage, try these steps:
- Stop the sim
- Locate the installation directory
- Sort by date
- Delete the newest file
- Relaunch the sim
Please note this is an unofficial workaround, even if it does work you should still file a support ticket to Zendesk, including a description of your problem and steps taken to resolve the issue.
I tried a clean uninstall, reboot, reinstall from an Ethernet connection. This time the installation got as far as only a little over 3 GB left and quit again. When i restarted the app, it again froze on the “please wait” cycle. I’m trying the whole thing one last time. This certainly seems to be a fault coming out of your servers. And it’s extremely annoying
Thanks for asking
Just realized it appears you’re a tester - not a company rep. My apologies for “your server.” Their server appears to ■■■■
That’s okay, I understand the frustration. I wish I could do more to help.

I am having the exact same issue. Tired of listening to the music, going to get a refund a wasted four tries and 4 hrs, not worth it.
I made it to the 3 gigs after my internet was fixed. after a week and half trying to fix it. i’ll try the steps above. Hopefully this will work. been waiting all summer for this game.
