My download started at 2 minutes after 4pm - started at 75+ Mbs. Now down to 11 Mbs and stuck downloading 3 files: Asobo-Aircraft-b787-10-livery-KLM-0.1.4.fspatch and 0.1.5.fspatch and 0.1.6.fspatch. As soon as that last one has downloaded, all 3 are instantly deleted and the process starts all over again - at least 15 times now. The whole thing is stuck on 42% (188/340) and 40.29GB. Its been over 3.5 hours so far. Any ideas how I can stop it constantly downloading those same files over and over and over??? As suggested to me, I deleted said 3 files (although it is doing a good job of that itself) and nothing changed. Just constantly downloading, deleting, downloading those 3 files… I have also just discovered that it is deleting the KLM folder as well as those 3 fspatch files. I have replaced it with a copy from my back-ups several times. Does anyone PLEASE have a suggestion, or it seems that I am stuck in this endless loop…

Im going to try deleting the entire OneStore folder and see what happens - don’t have much to lose!
I’d control alt delete and kill the process, and let the update start again…
Had mine get stuck. Shut down the sim, rebooted and then restarted sim, sorted itself out.
Well deleting the OneStore folder made no difference - so shut down and re-boot time…
I had the same issue on some other file: stuck forever. I ended up deleting my whole MSFS install and start from scratch. 120GB unfortunately 
Won’t be playing tonight it seems. But that 's okay, I’ll just compensate with excessive alcohol consumption (joking) 
Cannot get update to start. Wants to install “Gaming Services” then says intstalled, and I try again, same result. Going to cut grass.
All - realize all the servers are maxed out, ok. But open the game, as stated above, and it seems in endless loop for that gaming service. It DOES NOT SHOW UP in installed programs, and using the fix provided by MS, under store issues, does not fix it.
I am on soap box, as much trouble this is, as many issues users have experienced, the frustration level it just too much for my old age. I am seriously thinking about uninstalling this POS, and staying with FSX. Yeah got issues with honeycomb TQ, but I can just go back to my old joystick, and be happy as lamb. Aside from the fact, not one, NOT ONE plane really grabs my heart. The C-17 GM-III in FSX satisfices my flying bug more so. This will work by Friday this week, or for sure I’m done.
MS could have made this way simpler. Initially, send disk (DV/BR-DVD) out to all purchases, then make one single site, so users can download the updates to local machine, then install those same updates. Than can/could make it so once installed it checks license to verify it is legal copy. NOOOOOO, they got to make it so complicated, because they are afraid of illigal issues. Who in gods name would want to pirate this POS. It’s the biggest mess I have ever seen, and I would know. I beta tested W95/98SE-dceployed windows Workstation 2000 to 3200 users and was project lead on issues from that. In my wildest dreams, never could have imagined that a simple game, could cause so many issues for people. By Friday, or I’m done. It’s been a learning experience, but I have learned too much. I will never use VR, so any of those things won’t affect me, I will not Xbox, so again not affected. Too old in life, it way too short for a stupid game to make my life terrible. Thank you for listening.

SO:… After 3 re-starts then complete un-instal and re-install (with the PC running all night) and after just shy of 19 hours ---- it finally works! So far I have replaced just 5 folders into the community folder and all seems to be running OK (so far !). Performance: I have gained a very small increase - around 6 FPS, better than a kick in the teeth I suppose. I can see no change to CPU (still at 50%ish) or the GPU (Still at 99% ish). My specs: i5 9600K OC’d at 4.8 GHz, GTX 1660 - factory OC’d, 32 GB Corsair vengeance Sys memory. I’ve had a very quick look at VR (HP Reverb G2), there appears to be a small increase in smoothness but I have not yet played with VR settings (in MSFS). The whole VR thing is of course a different story, as so far it appears that I have bought the worlds most expensive paperweight!
I took it a step further and did a clean instal of windows after several failed MSFS instals. I am 3/4 through the download of MSFS… again.

All - Been one day cycle. Still open up game, takes me to store, wants to download/install “Gaming Services”, but store says installed. Have run troubleshooter for store. Cannot uninstall any of the items “recognized by store” so uninstalling them is issue. I am NOT going to completely wipe out Store and do all this again as I have a 15-MBPS connection and am NOT going to wait 4 days for all that stuff to download again. As mentioned in previous post, going to wait till Friday at 6PM EST, if this issue is not resolved, good by MSFS2020 for ever. This game and it’s issues, has cost me in terms of hardware, close to $5,000 us, i.e., New Laptop to play game on, Virpil JS and base and HC-TQ, at around 1400.00 us. And it still after almost a year is as bad as it was in the beginning. If this was car, company would have been shutdown by government as unsafe at any speed. For those whom have helped me in the past, I deeply appreciate your assistance. If I was able to help anyone, it was with pleasure that I tried to help. Enjoy this mess. FWIW-Have not Zendesk this issue, because I cannot in all certainly say, it’s not the store which is screwed up, nor can I pinpoint the game as issue. So wasting their time seems fruitless. Yes, the visuals are stunning, but at 32,000 feet, the only thing to see is possibly clouds and distant horizon. I got this game to improve my flying and navigating ability, but, since from beginning that has been broken as well. Yes, FSX has limitations in those areas as well, but that is technology 20 years ago. The process works flawlessly inside that game. I will take this evening late trying to get JS and TQ working in FSX, if unsuccessful, can go back to previous JS which worked fine, albeit sloppy. FWIW#2: I ran troubleshooter for store, no change; ran sfc scannow, did not find issues, ran Chkdsk on C drive, no issues; defragged C no change, Ran Boot defrag, no change. Ran check on HDD, shows good. Cannot figure out exactly what is wrong, but hair is now gone, so close to done. THERE IS NOTHING IN COMMUNITY FOLDER, AND HAS NOT BEEN SINCE FIRST PURCHASED THIS GAME, so please do not insult my intelligence with that reason. Other people have issues getting this to work, none have mentioned the exact issue I’m having, but issues abound.
