Startup issues and settings lost

Ladies and gentlemen, I have a problem.
I have seen this mentioned before, and have tried several offered remedies, but to no avail.
On startup, the Accessibility menu appears, followed a bit later by the graphics setup menu.
Having set these as required for the umpteenth time the program eventually loads up. However all of my saved settings are gone. Before I can fly I have to reset all the bindings for my joystick and throttle buttons. Next time I have to do it all again.
Please! Can someone tell me how to cure this nightmare!
Thanks good folks.

Sorry folks - suffered a finger slippage and clicked “solved” in error. This is NOT solved. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @AtomicGecko03,
Welcome to the forums!

I have moved your topic into Community Support as you are seeking assistance from the community.

The Bug Reporting is for reporting confirmed bugs that can be replicated. A template is provided to assist developers with this.

You may also seek assistance from Zendesk:
https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

I removed it for you.
All you need to do is click on the solution again and it removes it.

I remember an older similar topic:

Mentioned the gaming-service…

I remember other topics where users starts the game as admin, but not sure about that I can recommend that.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled gaming services (Version 4.66.9001.0).
Oh, Windows 11 by the way.
The only thing I installed just prior to this issue was the Navigraph Simlink. I have removed that, but it makes no difference. I have no update option for Gaming Services, so I assume I have the latest. I tried disabling it, but that just stopped the sim from starting.
HELP!

Did you seek assistance from Zendesk as Hester40MT suggested?

I do not have gaming services issues. I assume it’s because I am using Windows 10 and the Steam version.

I have messaged zendesk but not had a reply in three days.

hmmm… the described solution was a bit more than re-installing game-services only.

But I own own Steam version ( which not need these horrible Gameing-Services stuff ) and so I can not be sure.

Just a heads-up, Zendesk is only manned during business hours in France, Monday through Friday.
