The current version of MSFS has large airports well-represented with AI models (commercial traffic) but for the other 80% of the world, it’s an empty planet. Obviously, GA traffic would be a nice feature but if that’s out of the question, can we get a handful of parked static aircraft? Perhaps anything over 2000’ of runway with some low-poly models.
Bonus points if military airports can have some generic grey cargo planes.
That should already be the case. Check your settings.
Could be of course that they actually removed it since it was terribly annoying to find Spitfires, Ju52 and Corsairs at every small aerodrome.
Small airports are already full of GA planes → General options → Traffic → Ground aircraft density = 100 %
That randomizes aircraft models so you could end up with a twin jet (737/A320 style) at an airport incapable of handling them (I think). And also, unless there is parking coded into the airport apron, nothing would ever show up.
I turned up my ground density to 100%. Results were mostly good. I had a large twin jet parked in a GA spot at PHJR but otherwise ok.
Small strips with no parking wont have GA. These are quite common in wilderness areas like Alaska. But I don’t need perfection. Some static models are better than none.
