At least you got 1000 hours…
My Steam has me tracked with 1300 hours, but MSFS only tracked me at 800 hours… 500 hours are unaccounted for… But who’s counting…

If Steam success is only counting time “flying” well, MSFS say it is 1001h so this Steam success should be done…

Did you maybe ever use higher simulation rate? Not sure how these counters react on it or if they only count realtime.
Also not sure if the time is propagated to Steam if your sim crashes.
But is it so important for you to have the exact match?
I mean it might be a bug, some precision difference or rounding aspect. But do you really care if you get an achievement a bit later on Steam?
I suggest to report it via Zendesk, I doubt this thread will get any attention by the devs since there won’t be many votes.
