I need some help. I have purchased and downloaded the premium deluxe version on STEAM, and when I try to download it, and once updates are done, the items are grayed out. This has been frustrating as I have uninstalled, reinstalled, and followed other tips to no avail. Please help if you can.
I ended up getting steam to refund me and bought on Microsoft store, I was able to play for 20 min on stesam then it crashed before it got to the main menu everytime, tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still kept crashing, got refund, bought on microsoft store and it seems to be working fine, reinstalling everything, so maybe it is a steam thing

There is no issue with Steam…
yea well, for me there was , but it works fine via the microsoft store, uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, and crashed everytime , but now it’s fine (via MS)
as said… it’s the same process… first the main game is installed with 1.xx GIG and this downloads the additional data. your former issue was not related to steam, may be to firewall / anti-vir / forgotten Lang Pack install / or something else.
Whatever was causing his issue, now he has an Installed & Running version of MSFS.
Personally, I think he is better of with the MS Store version
(but that’s just my personal, uninformed choice !@!)
