I have been desperately trying to update the sim, and although the steam launcher updated, MSFS says checking for updates, then loads straight into the sim, not asking me to install Update 11, and loads into 1.27.21.0 all the while taunting me with the Update 11 splash screens.
My Stream install required reboot before the update would take.
Already rebooted several times, came back hoping it would initiate install, still bypassing it
Oh ####, I bet the sim put you in offline mode and it’s skipping updates … load it up, go into data settings and turn online back on then try it.
Edit: Also, sorry my bad, I had both these ideas as a fix and only shared one, should have just posted both.
