FYI if you are a Steam user and trying to launch the sim, you may get a notification that you cannot connect.
Steam is currently having an outage.
Just went back online for me. I started in offline mode, then just now chose the āGo Onlineā option in the Steam menu, and Iām back. Connected to server, MSFS went online automatically, and live weather popped right in
