Steam version where are graphic and control settings stored locally?

Does anyone know where these settings are stored and in what files?

all settings are in-game… hit esc then options
you might be referring to something else, but i thought id get the thread going.

Thanks yea I’m referring to physical file settings so they can be backed up

C:\Steam\userdata\94959374\1250410\remote

This is for the controller settings that are in your controller profiles. Each file in the above folder is a controller profile and can be read / modified with notepad.
You can also move them elsewhere and then start MSFS without any user made profiles (in case you think a bad profile is preventing MSFS from booting up).
This folder does not hold the graphic settings, only the controller profiles.

Graphic settings (at least some of them) is stored here:
C:\Users\ [username] \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\UserCfg.opt
