Stearman at Sunset - Great Atmospherics

As the title says! Today I took the DC Designs Stearman for a jaunt from Shoreham (EGKA), overhead Goodwood, then Southampton into the picturesque grass airfield of Compton Abbas (EGHA).

I forgot how early the sun sets at this time of year in the UK, with the sun already beginning to set as I kicked the tyres around 1500 local time. Real world weather conditions started out quite nicely, with a scattered layer above 6000, however these soon thickened and lowered, requiring careful following of the compass through questionable conditions before arriving overhead my destination 1 hour 20 minutes later.

The photos tell the story better than I can- enjoy! :uk:
