I must thank all the people on the forum for helping me make a decision.
I will be staying with MSFS2020 for at least the next three months after which time I will reassess the progress of MSFS2024 into a more stable and workable product.
I am not yet prepared to part with some hard earned for something that was/is not ready for release.
I read with interest the many posts and am disappointed. I was hoping that Asobo would have a relatively bug free product to present to the flight sim world…
I do not envy the Asobo team or their job but, I did expect a lot more considering that they had four years experience with MSFS2020 as a learning tool.

You have every right to do so, understandable decision. I’m starting my first flight as a commercial airliner in career mode, from Philadelphia to Malaga… no skipping. 8 hours
