Still Can't Purchase Anything on Marketplace

Hello @BurnzeeBoyee,

Please ensure the “Online Functionality” setting is set to “On”. You can find it in the menu shown below. If you have confirmed this setting is on but the Marketplace is still not available, please reply here and let me know.

Thanks,
MSFS Team

Thanks, that worked. For some reason the online Functionality seemed to have reset itself to ‘off’

I’m actually getting disconnected from the Marketplace and sim now after trying to purchase stuff. It won’t always kick me but sometimes it will disable the online services entirely and I have to restart the app.

Try - add new user account without admin permissions.
Sign out.
Sign in with the new user account and add your microsoft account.

Install Xbox app and sign in.
Install msfs launcher - launch msfs and point to msfs packages.

Open marketplace …

Can you PM me your XBOX Tag please?

I’m having this same problem: “Another transaction is still pending. Please wait a few moments, or contact support if the issue persists.” It was just happening with one airport, but now it’s happening with every add-on I try to buy,

I don’t have any pending transactions and I have plenty of money for the transaction in my Steam Wallet. This is ridiculous - they’re running a sale, yet they won’t let me buy anything!

I’ve contacted support, and they say if there is no purchase pending, it’s not an issue. They tried to palm me off onto the folks at the Microsoft Store. Seems they just don’t want to be bothered investigating the issue.

It’s the same tag here on Forum and hello good sir. Sorry for the late response but I have been babysitting a dog for a week and she’s dragging me outside now =) Today last day and I can fly again without my copilot drooling on me.

Check in the sim’s exe properties/compatibility options that it is not being run as administrator. If the box is checked then uncheck it.

I never run anything as an administrator. It’s my personal home gaming computer: there’s no point in running anything as an administrator.

Anyway, it switched itself back on again today. No explanation or anything, and I certainly didn’t change anything on my end. MSFS Marketplace just decided to cut me off from buying anything for 48 hours.

This silliness needs to stop. IF MSFS wants to cut me off, that’s fine, but they could at least have the decency to tell me why, and if there’s a problem, to let me know what it is and if/how I can fix it.

I suspect it had something to do with the credit card I was using being on its final month (though still perfectly valid). A day after I activated my new card, the system magically fixed itself. Coincidence? Maybe, but it smells fishy.

Hi @KWAiRT ,

I cannot fix your purchases issues, but given your frustrations, etc. I have granted you ownership for the FSReborn Sting S4.

Look into your content manager later and have some fun…

Best,
Raul

nope… because marketplace does not know in that way anything about your credit card.

The Pending message is in most cases confusing. I ( with Steam ) get these message for some seconds and then it goes away, usually allways. In my case I simple have to wait and that is what allways works. I remember the max-time was around two minutes ( but that was long ago, currently its usually some seconds ). And that is also what these error-message told “wait a few moments”.
And maybe therefore is worked fine “after a time x” in your case.

And the special reminder:
the topic is tagged with MS-STORE, but we speak currently about the STEAM payment process. Thats a huge difference , as already mentioned.

In this case the pending messages went away, but I was unable to buy anything for two days. That’s not a “few moments”. Clearly there is something wrong with the system if it breaks down for days.

Thank you so much, you are very kind. I have wanted to fly your plane since first seeing it on Mints stream. I remember talking about the Marketplace when your plane was first released and some of the issues facing users back then which were unrelated to this issue I am having now.

Very kind of you and much appreciated. This community is great and it really shows how much people care about helping others and giving back. You don’t see this kind of support very often. Hope you have a great day and I can’t wait to fire up the sim. I have been away for a week and been wanting to fly this plane for what feels like a year or so now!

Sincerely, Kurt

Fresh install of Windows fixed Transaction Window. Was the only thing I had not tried. Suppose I was due anyways but yeah. Now if I can only find a new stable Nvidia driver, I keep crashing and stuttering oof. Oh well least I was able to purchase the ATR on release. Even if I did not sleep for two days  Need way more coffee today… ATR calling me. Fly safe all…

Thanks for your answer! I have the same problem, however - reinstalling Windows completely is no option for me. Do you have any clue (even the slightest assumption) what could´ve changed for it to work now? Thanks for your effort!

Curious are you using the PIN security login method for Windows and all devices linked? That is where the issue seemed to be and for some reason it was not properly synced up with my build. If updating Windows itself and all dependencies does not work I fear that is the only option you can really do.

I did not try disabling PIN security but it might just work. I did turn off the auto pin and extra services related but that did not work. I think it’s in the security layer itself. Hope it works for you though.

Hey, thx for your reply! I indeed use a Pin for my devices. I am trying to disable the PIN, maybe it leads to something…

Welcome LandASAP ( neat name  btw, )

Is you Data turned on in Options?
Are you logged into xbox?
Have you run through the Support ideas?
Have you contacted Zendesk, if all of above does not work?

@KWAiRT Thanks for mentioning it was a pin issue.
Helpful !
