MSFS 2020. Just like fsx I use keyboard and mouse and joystick for different items you need overall. So I got this big lond list printed out of keyboard controlled items. Well It seems I have END to go from inside to outside camera view, I got G for gear, and not too much more…I even went to the keyboard and saw many listed as set already but I added or changed some but still not any movement when using keys on the keyboard so what am I missing? I’m not sure exactly what you are asking. Did you lose track of what you changed?
FWIW I only used the keyboard and mouse for years up to FSX. MSFS is very different with some similarities to confuse everyone. I tried flying MSFS using only the keyboard and mouse and it was horrible.There was just too much lag. Try learning how to fly using the joystick for a much better experience.
If you have a list of what is, by default, assigned to the keyboard try going into Controls Options, select Keyboard and then (I think it’s) Search by Input and go through the list pressing each key and/or key combination on your list in turn. If the key/combo is assigned it will show up, if it isn’t you’ll have a blank screen. Once you have an assigned key displayed, if you press that key the box on the screen should ‘illuminate’.

I am flying using a joystick and yes the mouse for clicking in the radios etc. My question is I have a list of MSFS keyboard controls as if these are default. If so most id little of the keys do any action. But I tried to input certain controls to certain keys and still not movement. Like G to landing gear and I wanted a different key instead of RND to move between the inside or outside of the aircraft. Like various lights on the aircraft for example , yes you can toggle the switch in the aircraft with the mouse but if your flying the yoke right handed and not good with mouse left handed then it is so much easier to just hit a key to turn on or off the strobe for example. This is what I am asking. If it is listed as many are it should then work but I am not seeing that. If nothing is listed then you should be able to assign some command to that key. I figure I must be missing something otherwise wny publish a MSFS list of key functions?
I have not tried that per say but the default keys listed are not even working and just some I have tried to assign a key is not working either.
I haven’t seen a published list of anything yet. It is confusing because a lot of new actions have been added.
I’ve given up getting a good working keyboard profile for now.
