Not if you’re taking off from a Class C or Class B airport…
You should be able to ask for a proper squawk code when taking off from B or C airspace BEFORE you are allowed to take off. I have enough to do than to force me to request a squawk code illegally after I take off (since I’m already illegally in the airspace).
To distract from the wish further, there should be an FBO radio code for airports so you can request ground service at non-towered airports…
