You’re seeing the computational fluid dynamics graphics lines. Go into Options/Assistance Options/User Experience and turn off Aerodynamic Visualization (CFD).

Thanks, Of course, I’m having another issue where the simulator loads to about 80% and crashes. Not making it to the startup screen. I was hoping that when I did the sfc check fixed it since I got in to see this issue. Any thoughts on that? Happy to open another topic if that is appropriate.

Matt

Rather than open another topic, you might search for this issue in existing threads. There are various issues like what you described that might help get your issue resolved. You can also check “support” at the top of the page for some ideas. The one that looks mostly likely to me, is: https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4406047820690-How-to-troubleshoot-crashing-on-the-loading-screen-issues
Hope you get that resolved!

Hi there,

Welcome back to the forums! Just as a heads up, we recommend asking the community for help in one of the blue categories before logging a bug report. It is always possible that it is something like an assistance option being turned on. Ideally, Bug Reports is a place where there is some community consensus that a bug exists.

I have marked Habu2u2’s post as the solution.

If you are having an issue with crashes, I would suggest creating another topic in this subcategory, Tech Talk. Before doing that, I would also suggest removing all of your mods or starting in Safe Mode (you can do that by pressing Alt+F4 in the sim and then starting over. You will be prompted for safe mode) and seeing if you still have the issue. If you do, then feel free to create a new topic in Tech Talk.
