Stream Deck plus - getting sim data

All,

I got the Elgato Stream Deck Plus last week and have started setting it up.
I saw in a couple of Youtube videos having this setup, but there seems to be a requirement to use Lorby AAO for the most part (example : MSFS FS 2020 FCU vom A320 FBW auf Stream Deck Plus " gefixt " - YouTube)

I also found another plugin : Flight Tracker StreamDeck plugin » Microsoft Flight Simulator
My question is related to this plugin and how to collect data from the sim using.

Does anyone here have experience with using the Flight Tracker plugin to makes custom calls for data like current speed or altitude?
Also I would like to use the plugin to turn on lights on the aircraft - anyone have experience setting this up?

Take a close look at Stream Deck for Microsoft Flight Simulator | Flightsim.to . There are a lot of solutions for different planes.
