Ugh I’ve run into this issue this morning too, doesn’t seem to matter what airport or aircraft I use.
So annoying, everything worked fine yesterday and in recent memory. Weekends are really the only time I can fly longer flights so this is super annoying.
After installing a second instantiation of FS24 on another PC, I could successfully fly the route that had frozen in my prior post. So the B707 flies beautifully on PC2. Then I recalled that I had to interrupt the download of a B707 flight on PC1. That’s when subsequent flights of the B707 would freeze but other planes still loaded flights OK.
Again, this one just feels like a cache problem. What would cause a particular plane to not load a flight?
I have not been able to load onto any airport after selecting fly now… same issue as all the above. Then I cant shut down the sim unless i Cntl-Alt-Delt

I discovered the issue and it was the Terrain LOD. I had to lower it to sub 100 to be able to load in. Super odd.
What works for me every time so far that I get stuck loading is reduce GFX settings to minimum. Then spawn normally and once the game has loaded, just go back to settings and increase GFX settings again.
It is just dumb.
Not sure if it was mentioned here or somewhere else. Fix for me selecting starting spot, then zoom out to see the entire world, then click Fly Now button. Works every time for me to avoid this stuck on loading issue.
