After hours, get into game and configure, then to my airport, select departure point and click FLY. Nothing, just loadingā¦
After trying a few times gave up, closed sim.
Re-opened sim, and now back at 0% loadingā¦
Microsoft, someone is taking the ā$$ā"! and I hope some detailed report is pushed to the community. You knew pre-sales figures, you knew xbox was open to all, what did you expect ?
Made it through the Login and Server Error Queues after a reboot (only took a little under 2 hours) and Iāmā¦ back stuck at 97% so the āsolutionā doesnāt even work.
They really should cancel this project and refund everybody. What Iā¦ā¦. It is just something that is completly out of mind. Grab money!!!

I download from Steam at the same time as others with almost full speed of my internet. Do Steam can handlle
If MS and/ Asobo had used 5% more of their pre-release advertising budget on technical hardware ( increased server capacity and or cloud capacity) maybe this calamity ( yes calamity) would not have been so severe.

By some miracle, I went from being stuck at 0% for several hours to main menu in about ten minutes after it got off the snide. I found the plane I like to fly, but the sim is really sluggish, and there is a a learning curve getting the flight plan in and the flight going. I might need a new computer after all (currently an i7-9700).
So much of the content for '24 is potentially being streamed from the same server clusters that are currently collapsing under the load I wouldnāt want to judge the simās performance just yet.

I have a 9700k too and aside of some badly optimised Airports it is still a good performance on 2020 on Ultra. Next year i get a new PC anyway
Well maybe being that the company is Microsoft, who pushes updates to billions of computers worldwide every month youād think they might have their s**t together. Or I donāt know, maybe staggering the releaseā¦or how about letting me get to the main menu without having to sign in first? Or how about being able to download the required game files without signing in? Those might be some reasonable expectations I would think of.
