Stuck at 97%

I actually added all the CF contents into the CF mention in your post. Ran the game, waited for the error loading… then followed your instructions again, so that it included all my CF content references. Deleted the copied content and ran the batch file. I checked the CF, and it was all there, the empty folder references that is. Ran the game… same issue… loading halted in upper 90’s%.

The workaround was for the early FS24 version that didn’t include controls to disable packages. Now that these controls are implemented I would suggest editing the content.xml file where the sim stores these settings instead.

More info on how to edit content.xml is available here… Seafront Simulations | MSFS2024 Compatibility
This page discusses seafront sim’s addons but the same technique will work to disable any marketplace addon in FS24.

I had the same issue. When I restarted I was given the option to start in safe mode. When I did this, the sim loaded properly. Afterwards, it started loading normally again.

So it appears to be a CF issue, at least for me.

I renamed the CF and made an empty one in its place.

Loaded normally.

I slowly started to add my addons.

I was only able to get a select few in their before it hung on 98%.

So therein lies the issue. :frowning:

Update:
As I continue to test… I found that I was able to include any/all scenery type add-ons without issue.

However, there’s seems to be an issue with the adding of one of the add-on aircraft’s.

Will post results as I go…

Whats happend since yesterday Asobo, the sim dont start and stopped . I renamed community folder but the same issue before. I will unistall this game the second time. thats not comfortable. When i read the crash report nothing help there. My interent connection is very good, and the pc is the same . Find a solution for this issue.

So it seems that by adding the add-ons a few at a time… worked!

So to recap… the issue started as “Low bandwidth” and other misc Internet Connection dialogs… Turned out I just needed to shut down Malwarebytes and Webroot A/V.

Then I got the dreaded stuck at 90% loading, which I resolved by starting a fresh Community Folder (keeping the other one as renamed) and copying a few selections at a time. Weird, when I copied the add-ons by Alphabetic order, it didn’t work… so I just tried copying all the add-on scenery and things first, then I added the aircraft’s afterwards (thinking at first it may have been an aircraft that made it stuck…) but it worked.

I can’t explain it… Everything works.

I’ve been running the sim for two days now, with no issues, other than once I had to restart the sim because either the sim stop drilling down to the runway after making a selection for departure and/or the EFB Loading shows a blank, even though I just made a FP online using the online flight planner from Microsoft.

I hoping my experience will help some folks out there

If it all falls apart, I’ll post… but hopefully this is it for now

Well I just got the 2024 a few hours ago, and the majority of that time is just looking at the main loading screen. At the first couple of launches I was able to get to the main menu, and customize my system settings. But the problem started when I enabled my Marketplace content that was selectable for streaming. Now loading to the main menu is stuck at %97. While catching up with this thread, the common solution giving is to restart the sim. I’ve done this twice already and I’m currently on my third attempt.

Disable all the add ons using the empty folder or Content.xml fixes mentioned in this thread. One or more of your add ons is causing a loading hang.
