Incredible they didn’t plan for this. I mean - you want people to stream from the cloud or something, what do you think they’re going to do when you release the game…
I thought they said they almost had a fix 2 hours ago? What’s worse than this launch is the total lack of proper communication and people sitting around for 8 hours with many not even having started the game. Very bad impression on them.

I did exactly this but it didnt have any effect for some reason. Am wondering if it’s because rivatuner was also running, will investigate in the morning.

I can see the Microsoft executives gathering in a Teams meeting tomorrow, looking at their Power BI dashboard of management information. The number players launching the sim today and total hours played will appear to be phenomenal. There will be pats on the back and bonuses all around for a successful launch day. Well you all are lucky - I can’t even get into a queue. It seems I must subscribe to Game Pass for another $20 to be able to access my purchase, which I paid for at least 2 weeks ago. And Game Pass will automatically renew at $20/month until I cancel it. Very tricky, MS.
I’m hoping that the sim will release without Game Pass by tomorrow but I’m not holding my breath.
I refuse to subscribe to Game Pass - I only want the ONE game FS2024 for which I already paid. We never had to pay extra for FS2020 beyond the stated purchase price.
Now I think I also read, if I can understand this, that to play multiplayer in FS2024 you will have to have Game Pass. This was not a requirement in FS2020 and I do enjoy the group flights. So I hope there will remain a few of us on FS2020 and I’ll try to get a refund on my purchase of Deluxe FS2024.
