Stuck on Gaming services

Hi all

After installing the 1.2GB patch for world update IV, when I try to open the sim it just takes me to the gaming services page on the Microsoft store.

I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling gaming services but no luck.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

I have the same issues, is there a work around?
Is Gaming Services required if not using XBox?
