Stuck on loading screen after flight

Hi all,

Recently I have had problems with the blue loading bar and it’s really getting on my nerves. Every time after a flight more than 5 min I have to restart my steam entirely including the game to get it working. When I press “Back to main menu” I get stuck on the blue bar of death. It goes all the way to the end and then just stays there forever. I then have to stop it on steam, then I have a problem where it says it’s already running so I have to go to task manager and force quit steam, then reopen it and press play. Even after that sometimes nothing happens so I then have to restart my entire computer. Also I can hear the MSFS loading music throughout. I have no clue what to do anymore. Restarting my computer after every flight won’t do it for me. It seems that the only way to be able to play this game normally is wait 2 weeks for the next update.

Having new problem today with the spinning circle
on the blue bar with the Castle being displayed
and never stopping the spinning circle.

Ran Speedtest dot net and it shows Internet is ok with 286 Mbps download.

Task Manager shows only 2 Apps running:

Google Chrome This Forum
Task Manager

Background Processes (79)
MS Flight Simulator

I don’t know why it is running as a background process.

Edit:
Problem fixed.
The screen was stuck with the Castle being displayed.
Performed a reset and then a Power Off.

After boot up, FS2020 loaded without any problem.

The screen was stuck with the spinning white circle.
The next screen to display would be the Checking For Updates screen.

I wonder if it is waiting for a response from the server in the cloud?
