if somebody has this problem:
today I activated my hyperthreading - just to see if there is a performance difference.
After starting MSFS I suddenly got stuck on the “press any key to continue”, in the loop.
Hmm, ■■■■, but never had any startup problems with MSFS until now.
Well hyperthreading disabled again - MSFS started - “press any key to continue” loop - hmm ■■■■ - welding beads - what is that ?
Then I looked at the XBOX app and saw that I was not logged in.
It seems that when you change the hardware, the PC logs off from the XBOX hub (probably another device ID). Logged in to the XBOX app (my CODE was requested) - and see no more LOOP !! yea yea !
Only as info if who has this error.
Furthermore - if your MSFS is crashing, check your memory timings and speed.
I have 3200 RAM’s which were set in XPM with 14 (RAS) timings.
Had sporadic crashes (CPU is also a bit overclocked) - since I set the timings to 15, I have absolutely no crashes in MSFS.
So it reacts very sensitive to the memory or overclocking !
