I have had numerous stuttering events recently on the latest Nvidia driver. I have done all the usual things to try and remedy the stuttering and nothing worked untill i decided to completely remove all drivers. After a restart I then used the driver which Windows update installed and now i get next to no stuttering but I am not sure why. I beleive the driver was from April this year so not a new one at all. Anyone know why this seems to work?

Because Nvidia pushes drivers out an absurd rate to keep up with new titles. Unfortunately new driver does not mean stable driver or driver without errors. They cannot test with every software title.
One thing I have learned in this hobby is it if ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Also take note of a driver version you have been running stable on prior to updating just in case you need to revert.
Thanks for your answer. As the driver is quite old now I get the message that it is old and may not run correctly on MSFS. I will keep it for now and see how it goes.
I’ve been having the same issue with stutters lately, everything was running great for months. I hadn’t changed any settings just started up out of nowhere. I have tried changing all settings to low but no change. Hopefully the new update will fix these issues. It’s hard to land when you get a great stutter right before landing.
