In this case validated would encompass:
- Virus / Malware scan
- Compatibility
- Complies with licenses / copyright
- Validation of file structure (all required files present for user and MP model matching)
- Duplicates check so only the “real” author is able to offer the addon
Just thinking out loud here. But due to the free nature of these platforms, this would be too much work involved.
