ISSUE DESCRIPTION
- Description of the issue:
I am having major issues when the FG is on. Actually, I had this issue in MSFS 2020 as well, but I could get rid of it by switching it off and then back on.
I found another solution for this issue in 2024: switching to windowed mode and then back to fullscreen mode. However, it only works until the game momentarily freezes or the FPS drops due to a lack of optimization, which triggers stuttering again.
On the other hand, I experience huge FPS drops when I start at an airport or land. I get 50-60 FPS (sometimes even more) when I start in the air, even on ultra settings at 1080p and in the most detailed cities like New York. However, I only get “1-5 FPS” when I start at an airport, even at the least busy ones.
I also experience huge FPS drops after playing for a while. For example, I start with 60 FPS in the air, but it drops to 20-30 FPS after playing for 10-20 minutes.
I didn’t have such performance issues with MSFS 2020. The lowest FPS I experienced in 2020 was 30-35 FPS, even with every setting on ultra (average 60 FPS).
