Stutters in VR on low settings with new 4090/13900K/Quest Pro system

And you seem to to like to find meaningless facts to support your opinions, lol! That, plus your views that anything you don’t like, based on your subjective opinions, is Garbage. You also seem to want to turn discussions into arguments, and this is not conducive, nor constructive, to this or any forum imho.

I think it’s best for me to avoid replying further, trying to constructively correct and/or add anything to your posts. If others want to believe what you say, that’s up to them. If mods know their stuff, they will act and edit accordingly. Again, bye and good luck mate.

I don’t agree with your statements and generalizations about me (which seem to be based on a single post/discussion we had) in your last post but agree that further discussion is pointless.

I’ve had good luck. I have a 4090 and only the 7900x with 64gigs of ram

I got a thunder bolt riser card for my Rog 650 so my headset could stay fully charge while using.

I am using NVIDIA DLAA and Foviated redering using openxr toolkit. A few updates ago, Microsoft fixed the menu issues and now the foviated render works as expected. I am also using DX12

I am not doing FPS tests, but the game is pretty smooth most of the time. My rolling cach is set to 200gigs, but I don’t think the game tries to use that much.

I do know that if we are not using VR we can max out most stuff and it looks amazing. I sometimes record my VR flight and play them back, but there is a bug when selecting the file in VR mode. The games tries popup a window that does not display in VR and always goes behind mirrored monitor display.

Almost forgot. I turned off most of the AI and real air traffic as well as cars on the ground. That seems to be a big drain on the CPU.

The GPU handles everything in stride

At my System, a lot off Performance issuses, stuttering came from the different VR overlays.Mostly from switching steamvr/occulus app/openxr./Pimax(befor)
Some overlays stayed aktive or didn’t enable themself and Performance was terrible.

With Pimax openxr worked best, like a champ.

For my Quest 3 , i switched everything to Virtual Desktop and steamvr games and turn off any overlays possible. ( also nvidia hud, gamehud etc. )

Without occulus app/xbox app and just VD it just runs perfect everytime. No connection Problems and better Visuals i think .

I hope that Helped someone, be aware off disabled/ enabled overlays or connflicts in steamvr , when switching platforms.
