Test scenario for reproducing the bug:
- Navigraph AIRAC 2209 revision 2 installed (both packages included in the content.xml file)
- select the C172 Skyhawk equipped with the G1000 NXi (v1.0.4)
- set the aircraft to Vienna Rwy 29 (LOWW)
Test 1:
Select the “information window / VOR information” and enter the WGM VOR (Wagram)
Result: the VOR WGM is selectable and all information are correct so far - you also see all the navaids/waypoints on the navigation map correctly
Test 2:
Press the “Direct-To (DTO)” button and enter the WGM VOR
Result: WGM VOR is not found
Test 3:
Comparing the results between the new NXi (v1.0.4) and the old NXi (v0.14.0)
Press the “Direct-To (DTO)” button and enter the WGM VOR
old NXi v0.14.0
Result: WGM VOR is found and can be selected
new NXi v1.0.4
Result: WGM not found
Test 4:
Open the VFR map (key: V) and zoom into the LOWW area to see at least the FMD and WGM VOR. Now insert FMD in the search line:
Result: FMD VOR is found
Now insert WGM in the search line:
Result: WGM VOR is not found, while it´s visible on the map
Test 5:
Search the WGM VOR directly in the WorldMap
Result: WGM VOR is found
In all tests, you see the WGM VOR in the maps, so the the are available/select able and correct. In all tests, I have used the same database in the background, no reboot, no re-start the sim, nothing, only switching the aircraft.
Also, there was no data or cycle change between the previous sim version 1.26 and the current released version 1.27.21 - so something looks odd since the SU10 release.
This is 100% reproduce able and happens ONLY with the Navigraph navigation data update. Only the new NXi and the VFR map is effected (incl. all other 3rd party addons, which uses the NXi as primary GPS).
