Frankly speaking I also noticed it but have no clue when it was introduced:
ā¦Are you saying they are just paying lip service?
ā¦Iāll get my coat!
The lips started moving (again) a few builds ago. Might even have been from the beginning of SU3 beta but Iām not entirely sure.
Did that make it in to the patch notes? I think I missed that.
I normally donāt have a co-pilot, so my pilot is the one talking to ATC. I normally donāt observe my pilot from the outside when theyāre talking to ATC, but for whatever reason, I did just this yesterday. I was surprised to see that my pilot avatar was moving its lips while talking. I made the assumption that this had been in the sim since launch, I wouldnāt have known if it was, or if it was recently added.
Are you sure you arenāt trolling? The release note says nothing for you to test. āNo user Facing Changesā Whatās confusing about that?
Iām getting this error instead: PC, Store Version
I thought maybe I could still use Build 1.5.16.0 instead whilst Microsoft/Asobo fix this issue, but I was wrong. Canāt even cancel the stupid incomplete download to get it to try downloading again from the start. Any suggestions guys?
Yesterday prior to new beta update I complained about a horrid stutterfest during cruise nearing descent all the way to landing where fps seemed like it was 5 fps. After smooth start from origin.
After new beta update .17 started up out of KMIA with just flight traffic beyondATC GSX and pmdg777-300er it was smooth as silk. The best Iāve ever experienced so far still silky smooth after 7 hours of flight on the way to OTHH
The part you didnāt quote included the question āWhat is the purpose of giving us release notes if they do not say anything at all?ā
We are supposed to be helping to test this thing, if we do not know the purpose of a build, we canāt do that. All we can do is kinda fly around and use it as a preview which is explicitly NOT what this beta is supposed to be.
The changes obviously do something or they would not exist. And there are obviously possible regressions as a result of any changes, even those not ācustomer facingā.
So giving us a build that includes no indications is a little disrespectful of our time. We are donating our time in an attempt to help (or at least thats what weāre supposed to be doing). And not to simply fly with the latest toys.
I hope this is true. I am waiting Nenenuiās answer on another topic. After last update i am not experiencing this issue anymore > FPS Drops when download speed increases - #22 by DrewmorKuZy
I canāt test full flights (health issues) but i hope this was the result of the last update, even though it was saying āVarious back-end updates; no user-facing changesā.
edit: what is wrong with the term back-end (servers). It is on the release notes⦠anyways.
Okay, you should have mentioned VR before. After reading your previous post I tested St. Barts here (2D) and it was amazingly smooth with everything on max settings on my weakest PC (old 3970x with 3090).
Anyone notice if the ground marshals are back? I miss those folks.
I have seen some, but I canāt say if itās been 100% of the time or not.
I installed SU3 beta and noticed that my FPS went down a little compared to SU2.
Whatās funny is that even when leaving the beta and going back to SU2, I never got the FPS back that I had previously in SU2.
So much so that I might as well just stay in the beta. The performance drop from SU2 to SU3 beta is a bit concerning though.
PC or Xbox ?
