Hi MSFS Team,
I’m currently participating in the SU4 Beta for MSFS 2024 and wanted to provide feedback on an issue that’s affecting the user experience.
Each time I launch the sim, I’m required to re-enable my add-on content manually. This includes scenery, aircraft, and other marketplace/downloaded items. It’s a repetitive and time-consuming process that disrupts the workflow and makes testing or flying less enjoyable.
If this is a bug, I hope it can be addressed in the next SU4 release
Try the following to see if that would resolve the issue:
- Make sure the simulator is not running
- Locate the Content.xml file and delete it
- Default locations for this file:
- MS Store: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\YourGamertag\
- Steam: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\LocalCache\YourGamertag\
- Launch the simulator and enable/download your content from My Library
- Restart the simulator to see if the issue is resolved
Nope I’ve still got the same issue as before these steps.
This has only happened since joining the the SU4 beta.
Hmm, works fine for me, and I’m sure if this was widespread you’d have loads of people complaining.
Maybe try a full uninstall/reinstall?
I’ve only got this issue on the SU4 Beta. It works fine when I leave the beta but then I’ve joined again and got the same issue
Can you list some items that are getting disabled? It’s possible some of us have those same items, and can comment on whether we are seeing the same thing or not. It’s possible its happening to me, and I never noticed as I’m not using them, for example.
every time i load the sim up its disabled
