Above is the science of why this display is important.

This must have been a lot of work to implement and cannot imagine why this charateristic that distinguishes the Asobo model from others vanished unless somebody deleted some code by mistake.

You got it! Thank God they did not drop this. BUT, I am having problems with the AP in the 787. It is not following the GS. Here is my display going into SFO and it lost the GS at around 1500’, This was actual IMC this Am and had to manually land the plane and seemed more difficult controlling than usual.

Regarding the AP issue, I’ll let community to help or provide some input on this, I am not a 787 specialist

No problem I have annotated my BUG report for that one and will ask the 787 community to test it.

B-787 - Autopilot Issue: VNAV not longer captures the GS on an ILS properly

Well, the good news is that the transition between VNAV and the ILS is now smooth but I seem to lose the GS at about 1500’… can you try the GS on some other approaches? I have repeated the transition a couple times but also have seem the GS error more than once. See the magena diamond is way HIGH but this is CAT III… has autoland on and it landed in the bushes on another ILS yesterday. [GS Error 2026-05-03 08_07_58-Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 - 1.7.27.0]
