MS/Asobo explicitly request that users test beta releases with an empty community folder and no add-ons if issues are found. You test with add-ons at your own risk as keep in mind betas are also to allow the 3rd party add-on developers to test their code in parallel.
These beta drops are going to be rough around the edges and if you don’t like this type of code then I highly recommend you go back to the certified general release.

Where exactly does Asobo say that betas must be tested only with an empty Community folder?
They recommend clearing the Community folder when troubleshooting, because that isolates the base sim. That’s a debugging step, not a blanket rule for the whole beta.
If nobody runs add-ons during a beta, compatibility issues would only show up after the final release, which would be pretty pointless.

Could not agree more. Imagine if everyone tested without add-ons and on final release we were left with a compatibility mess.
Usually, I test with add-ons I’m using for the flight and disable them with add-on linker if I have a problem.

Just to clarify a bit on this point above. It’s perfectly fine and indeed encouraged to test Sim Updates with all your usual mods and addons.
HOWEVER, if you encounter any bugs or issues, your #1 troubleshooting step should be to temporarily move/disable your mods to confirm if the issue still remains with a base clean install before coming to the forums to create a bug report.

Flow Pro working fine here. Had to click the icon in the stock toolbar first (normally hidden) as my mouse shortcut wasn’t working. But once I did that it’s working fine.

PMDG 737-800
After pushback was complete the LIGHTS switch set itself to “TEST” and all lights displayed accordingly, even though I did not move the switch. Additionally, the A/T ARM disengaged on its own.
I am noting that PMDG 737-800 is not fully compatible with SU5. Technically, I should test SU5 with an empty Community folder, but if I had done that from the start, I would not have encountered or noticed this bug in the first place. Hello, just wanted to add another data point. I just finished a full flight from EDDM-LEMD using the Pmdg 738. Used gsx for pushback. I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary during the whole flight.

To what I described above, I’d also like to add that the thrust reversers activate on their own, the autopilot disengages by itself. It’s honestly something really strange.

It’s possible I might be dealing with some kind of “ghost inputs". I’ll need to test this more thoroughly on my end and rule it out.
It’s because of the 5090, it does everything by itself, just kidding.
Have you tried deleting the Wasm folder from the 737 so it rebuilds itself when you restart the sim?

I don’t remember, but I think I might have deleted the Wasm files before. To be sure, I deleted them again so they will rebuild when I next launch MSFS 2024 SU5.

It’s very likely that this isn’t caused by SU5 or PMDG, but by ghost input. Recently, I swapped out my CPU and GPU, which meant disconnecting devices from USB. I may have reconnected them differently than usual. In my setup, it’s important that the throttle on my X56 is plugged into the USB 2.0 Expansion Slot Bracket.
After shutting down the PC and double-checking exactly which USB ports everything was plugged into, I realized the throttle wasn’t connected to the USB 2.0 Ports Expansion Slot Bracket. I’ve now switched the devices around and will test again, because I have a feeling the ghost input issue may have been caused by the throttle being plugged into a USB 3.2 port instead of 2.0.
