Suddenly 10FPS CPU limited

Having an odd issue. Was flying fine earlier until I started getting 10fps (down from 40+) in a scene that should not be taxing. Minimum graphics preset. VSync is disabled. CPU load at 25% and GPU around 18%. Negligible network and disk activity. GTX960 / Ryzen 5 1600.

Any idea what causes this and how to stop it from happening?

Lol 8 months later this still happens… broken game.

Happens all the time at random areas. The GPU usage just tanks and it becomes like that. Nothing we can done, that’s just how the game is.
