Loading times since Dec 6 have become ridiculous.
It is taking upto 10 to15 minutes to get to a flight. Don’t know what happened.
Copied the Community folder and then deleted it from the sim and it loaded quickly. Put the community folder back and slow loading.
i have nothing new added, so don’t know what is going on.
will have to look at community folder and use process of elimination to see wghat ius causing the issue.
No issues with my Community folder but, it seems that after every update loading times seem to be effected.
Hopefully the boys and girls at Asobo will be able to fix the issue
I’ve experienced the same yesterday and for me it was the latest MSI Dragon center update wich made some ■■■■.
Uninstalling it resolved the problem.
When something is suddenly wrong in fs2020 it’s not necessarily because of fs 2020
I understand what you are saying but, I have not had any system updates, so I am sure it is an issue with MSFS2020.
This is not the first time this issue has occurred.
I will say that after a few days it seems to resolve
I haven’t had any issues with community file/mods. I had been flying for hours earlier. No problems running the game, but I have been noticing the game taking longer to load recently even though No changes made/installed. I haven’t added any custom files to the community folder for a week or so and I’ve been in Sim everyday with no problems getting in game.
The “not responding” issue after 80% loading just came out of nowhere last night without me making any changes whatsoever.
Well apparently it was some file in the Community folder. I refused to believe that was the issue, but…
I forgot that I had copied over a few older Liveries from a pervious build hours before reloading the Sim to try them out. Anyway that’s what was causing it to not completely load up.
I deleted a few files at a time until it worked. All in all, it ended up being an older Caravan livery that caused the clog. That community folder is extremely sensitive it can really hinder The Sim drastically… not to mention gets Huge in size FAST! so pay attention to that folder!
Apparently there’s been a serious change in Liveries since an update or two ago that The Sim just refuses to ingest now. Anyway, thank to all who took time out of their day to try and help!
