I’m not talking restricted airspace. But I was returning on a commercial flight last night. Approach started over the Gulf of Mexico south of the Tampa area to PBI.
I was able to recognize exactly where I was! All the airports were also right where I expected them to be. My eyes were able to instinctively go to the right spots like I had been doing this for real.
I spotted my house too. There is a distinctive shape to the neighborhood I can always spot now.
Just another moment the sim has impressed me!
