A32NX, new update - installed
Steam, new download for MSFS 2020 - installed
MSFS 2020 open, new update 9 - installed
MSFS 2020, profile, downloads - installed
MSFS 2020, cache cleared and recreated
any plane loaded, start flight pressed - CTD
Community folder emptied, reboot, Chessna loaded, start flight - CTD
in the end tried it out for 2 hours and didn’t make a single flight - only CTD, no matter with which aircraft
is kind of frustrating and a complete waste of your lifetime…
System: RTX3090, 10900k, 64GB, G2

Lots of people complain about ctd’s and here I am without any issue whatsoever (r5 3600/rtx2060s/32gb)
Is your pc overclocked? Hopefully they can fix it soon

Why do people think its a good idea to update the Nvidia driver and software before a SU. It really isn’t.
Nvidia regularly produce updates that break the sim, and unless the update specifically fixes an issue with the sim, patches a security vulnerability or adds functionality - which is supported by the sim, its best not to use it.
I stopped installing updates from Nvidia last year. I did a clean uninstall and restart and let Windows Update manage my Nvidia driver and I am yet to have a CTD. Admittedly I don’t use VR.

Found a mistake …
Since it was already dark yesterday evening, I didn’t start from Nuremberg as usual, but from BIRK (Reykjavik). It was still light there and I wanted to see the “new” clouds after installing SUS9… CTD. Today I started from Nuremberg and everything worked as usual. So again BIRK - 31L selected as takeoff - CTD. The problem is probably at BIRK airport or at the Icelanders in general

Yes all screens function. Don’t know about the CRJ because I don’t have it, but I flew the 787, FBW 320neo and A330-900 today and it was all fine.
If you have a problem where the screens turn black, that might be a known issue that Asobo is investigating. It could have something to do with not enough memory (RAM).
i created a post related to this issue ctd on load but it’s long gone under su9 beta forum.
you should locate your LocalCache/Simobjects/Airplanes/
try to delete every STATE.CFG file in this folder. and see if it works for you.
