I was hoping to set things up so that rather than having (literally) hundreds of liveries for VATSIM in my community folder I could create a symbolic link and keep them together elsewhere.
In doing so, when I want to start the sim without loading them all in I can just remove the link rather than have to select them one by one. Inevitably they’re all mixed in with my scenery, aircraft etc. which makes it a time consuming task. It’s effectively the same system ORBX use with their ‘ORBX Library’.
I can set the link up no problem, but the sim doesn’t seem to be recognising the liveries.
Has anyone managed to get such a setup to work?
