Yes thanks. I tried a restart but it didn’t help. I’ll give it another go later.
I’ve still held off buying this aircraft and, looking at the various issues reported, I’m glad I did.
Smart move. A software engineer once said to me “you never buy first version”. I reckon this applies to aircraft as well.
It is actually in quite a good shape now. So unless you are on xbox, no reason to stop yourself from enjoying this bird.
I have PC and XBox. I feel for the Xbox users because, given all the issues reported, I don’t think it should have been released for Xbox in its original state.
I hope to get the PC version but will wait a bit longer.
On Xbox MP we’re still on v1.0.9 as of 3 mins ago - so we haven’t got any of the latest performance improvements to try out….
Having the same issue here
Are you on SU7 beta or SU6? I haven’t tried out v1.0.10 yet, but will do tonight, so I will try updating nav data then. Have you manually tried deleting the wasm folder for the A200. I usually do that ahead of every upgrade and the nav data is in a sub directory of the wasm folder.
Still SU6.
I will clear the WASM later!
There is a Navigraph update that fixes the data loading problem… Came out about 90 minutes ago.
The A200 Navigraph update via FMC worked well for me a minute ago. the Navigraph hub would still appear to be having issues updating some of my other aircraft though.
Well as a follow up to the 45fps bug that I posted about earlier.
I just did a flight from C&D to shutdown. I had my frames locked to 36fps instead of 45fps (my only other option). I can report no APU bug, no CB bug, in fact I captured the ILS GS very easily after struggling and usually missing it before. I’m wondering if this frame bug is causing GS capture problems as well.
First successful flight for weeks.
On Xbox we are still only on v1.0.9…..
to all VR users here who use the hand controllers:
can you use the controllers everywhere on the big screens ? or is it like the A350 from INI that the controllers dont work on these screens and you have to use the mouse ?
quest 3 here.
thanks.
I wonder if that is an XBox only thing or a Marketplace in general thing?
I don’t have the A220, but just using a detailed A380 from another developer, I find that the hand controllers (Quest 3) are just not practical for controlling switches, let along trying to do things on displays (which are surprisingly similar in a few ways to the A220). It feels like trying to water a pot-plant with a fire hose. Too easy to press the wrong thing or select the wrong switch.
The mouse is more precise. That’s not to do with any one developer doing anything better or worse, that’s just airliners with small details on displays and rows of small buttons close together.
That said I love VR and I wouldn’t give it away for anything - makes flying and landing these airliners a real joy.
A marketplace thing in general. I’m on the pc marketplace version and still on version .9!
I’d transfer out onto iniManager if you have the option. You’d have access to all the latest updates when they come out. Interesting though that they haven’t approved the updates for the market place yet. That’s just too weird, it’s been over a week, heading for two.
Works fine everywhere, unlike the 350 as you mention. Use quest 3 with controllers and it works as you’d hope.
