I bought a T.16000M joystick and installed correct drivers etc. I started using it on Microsoft Flight Sim today, set up the sensitivity and all the axis settings, however whenever I fly, I get a heavy jerking that is completely game breaking.FFor example, In the settings, the axis graphs move smoothly, and when I hold the joystick left, it stays in its position on the graph. However in the game when I hold the joystick left, it jerks to the center and back left constantly. This issue happens in all of the axes.
There’s a video on my YouTube that I uploaded which shows the issue, my YouTube channel is called motoriousss (it’s the only video on my channel)
I have the same Joystick but don’t have that problem. If you are using Windows 10 there is no need to install drivers. The joystick is just plug and play.
i have the hotas version and the issue occurs with me with the twist axis in nearly every flying game i have. just the standard win10 drivers as well (no thrustmaster sofware). Thankfully i bought the flight pack and i’m able to just disable that axis since i have the pedals as well
The ‘Z’ axis (usually the rudder) is the worst feature of the T.16000M by far. No matter what sensitivity mappings I’ve tried it doesn’t seem to do too well. Other than that, I’ve been happy with the 'stick.
I managed to solve it with help from reddit. I had a ps4 controller connected to the PC that I used to use for the joystick, and so that interfered with the T16000.M
Just unplugging the controller has resolved this issue.
Hello. The problem of torsion is mechanical. This is a known problem with the T16000 joystick. (Potentiometer clogging). To solve it, it must be disassembled and cleaned with the appropriate product. There are videos on Youtube, but I didn’t want to embark on this adventure.
