Amy idea when this is scheduled to be released?
Looks great, didn’t know this was being developed but it’s been on my wishlist for aircraft I’d like to have on the sim one day.
today on PC, a bit later on Xbox
Glad I saw this, was about to buy it. I only fly VR.
It’s compatible with VR. There was an error in the default VR eyepoint that has an easy fix which will be part of our next update. For now, there’s a patch available on our Discord that can be installed to the community folder for either 2020 or 2024 that should resolve the problem.
Great news! Thanks so much!
I have tried to migrate the A/C folder from MSFS2020 to MS2024 community, , also from the MS Store from 2020 to 2024… What i find is, the aircraft is not apparent in the aircraft selection screen in 24. I have purchased TMS T7-A within FS2020 Marketplace. so. Not sure how long otherwize until it does become available for 24?.
Same for me I just re downloaded FS2020 and bought it but can’t see it anywhere for FS2024
do you know any reason why its not synced in the 2024 library? Even though its been purchased in the 2020 marketplace
We don’t - this is entirely a back end process in the 2020/2024 marketplace content engine into which we’ve got no insight. We’ve inquired about both purchase transfer holdup issues that some customers have experienced and product updates from 2020 - 2024 and have been greeted with stone silence from the MP team even when other questions have been answered. It’s a mystery box. We are confident these issues will all be resolved when the 2024 marketplace officially opens, hopefully very soon. In the meantime, we just ask for patience and apologize on behalf of Asobo / MSFT
I would like to just add that, as Dakly mentions the back end process, to be clear it’s not specific to the T7A. Sadly I’ve seen a lot of comments from people having the same issue with other aircraft that are available in 2020 for more than year. But for some reason buying now seems to generate a hold between 2020 and 2024 that we have not seen previously.
Maybe it’s linked to the holidays, maybe this ‘transfert’ requires a validation that can’t be done automatically?
I just watched a promotional video for this aircraft for MSFS 2024 and also looked at it in the MarketPlace in MSFS 2020. I would not pay one penny for this great looking external model. The MSFS 2020 MarketPlace shows all these great photos (screenshots) from the outside view, with no one flying. What a joke not having a Pilot or Copilot visible in the external view. The screenshots are in the MSFS2020 MarketPlace and they look completely ridiculous. How could a former pilot trainer put in a plug for this unfinished aircraft.
The main instrument panel looks terrible and unrealistic from what I observed in the video. I do own the payware F-22 in MSFS 2020 and it is okay ( needs a cockpit texture upgrade) These Cockpit textures look two dimensional and very poor in my opinion.
The aircraft seems not ready for release with no visible flight crew and is as bad as MSFS 2024 simulator not having visible pilots in many of their own default aircraft and aircraft that they are letting us enable from MSFS 2020 but with no pilots. If I wanted to simulate flying with no pilots or crew, I would simply fly drones or a remotely piloted target aircraft.
These types of unfinished products are really annoying and seem to be just a money grab.
Aviation is supposed to always be about quality assurance, precision and reliability just to name a few.
I might buy it in the future even with a low grade cockpit if both MSFS2020 and MSFS 2024 show the pilot and copilot.
I would not even consider it at this time.
It is a real shame that people just buy so many lousy products and then have buyers regret. I have done it myself.
Just to make a point I’ll post a couple of screenshots of other aftermarket aircraft that actually show the pilots. I am not trying to be offensive so I apologize in advance. I am aware of the current problem with pilots not showing. If the T-7A does have pilot and copilot, someone can let me know but I’m not convinced.
If your referring to CG Aviators videos he does clearly state that its an early access version that he is using for recording and is therefore subject to change.
But il also draw your attention to the well known fact that 2024 has pilot placement issues, non of the 2020 compatible aircraft have externally visable pilots because of this issue.
So instead of ranting that things are un acceptable, do your home work and see why things are as they are for a short while.
Sorry if you think I am ranting. Maybe you could read the last several lines again as I am well aware of the problem with pilots not showing in MSFS 2024. Unfinished aircraft and a simulator with no pilots at release is not okay with me especially when MSFS 2024 and Top Mach are charging a very high price.
Spend your money on whatever you want, I like pilots to be visible. I am clearly aware of the problems with pilots not showing and have been since day one.
Try reading the post again before you say someone is ranting.
Look at the screenshots on MSFS 2020 MarketPlace with no one in the plane while flying and buy it if you want to. I certainly won’t be the last person to talk about an unfinished game or product in this forum. There are a lot of terrible aircraft in the MarketPlace. Many aircraft are are completely (unacceptable).Do your spell check. I have done my research.
Hopefully the pilot problem will be solved in the near future.
So you’re saying all 2020 aircraft have no pilots when used in 2024?
You can to go to the 2024 content manager and enable it
This is what I have found yesterday for aircraft that didn’t have a pilot hard coded to replace the stock pilot.
We are working on an advanced custom pilot figurine based on the one we used in our B-2 project. This will mean that it doesn’t rely on the 2020/2024 pilot figurines to display - it will be self-contained in the model and avoid any of the issues other titles are having in this regard. Because of the work involved to revise the pilot figurine and update the functionality, we weren’t going to have this ready in time for initial release. This will be included in our first product update, which shouldn’t be too far off on the calendar (perhaps a month to 1.5 months out). As far as the cockpit textures; the T-7 is a brand new aircraft so we opted for a minimal wear finish, but the textures themselves are high resolution, and contain a lot of fine detail. The cockpit itself is very highly detailed, so perhaps your reaction is a matter of taste and maybe not a problem with our work quality. So, if the pilot issue is a deal-breaker for you, check back after our first update.
