i can use my T Flight Stick x at all as the joystick didnt get recognize. Nothing happens when i enter the hardware menu in the sim. None of the axes shows a reaction

I also posted on this. I have the same one. Mine works except for the Trim on the Cessna 172. I have not tried it on larger aircraft.
They only seem to have one stick choice available. I wonder if this is modifiable with the SDK. In 2020 it worked out of the box.
So I have the Hotas One flight stick which work w MSFS 40th Anniv. previous edition, but on this new version it doesn’t respond and no default reset button. so should we wait for the fix, its on the game side not the thrustmaster correct?? mainly- Elevator Axis is backwards… is everyone having the same issue?
I found the trim was not working because I had set the Assistances to AI this (default). I later messed with the controller commands and could remap them. Lot of hunting and picking but it works now.
The weather also defaults to non-local on every boot it seems.
The controls on my joystick and throttle control are backwards. When I start the career the upwind end marker says it’s 3230 NM and it’s hugging the plane.
A day later and seems my binding have spontaneously deteriorated. Here is what I did to I hope get them right.
Here are the settings. I checked the device manager and the device is in the proper spot and I reinstalled the driver by removing the device and reinserting it.
Long story short… I went into the controller settings in detail and there were several buttons that were cross referenced multiple times with life fire fighting settings. I am not sure I have it fixed but I deleted a lot of duplicates… you can search for button presses and 5 came up one one…
You can find the manual for the controller on the web with the correct button numbers.
If you delete the setting for a function and click on the empty field it will scan for your press of the correct button.
One last thing and now seems good. On the throttle there is a little light on the right side. Should be Red. Green I think is user defined settings. Hit that and you are lost for good.
On to the 787.
my joystick does not work either VKsim gladiator…i see it in the control section but it does absolutely nothing
I am going to put up the TrustmasterX button map here. I swear this came up on 2020, but here it is for reference.
If your stick works the same as mine, it should be recognized in 2024 and then you need to check if the buttons are properly mapped. The default mapping in mine was all screwed up as they seemed to add many other functions that overlapped buttons as much as 5 times.
In the search bar for the mapping you can press the button and you will see to what function it is mapped.
NOTE WELL: IT SAYS FOR THE “RED LIGHT” ON… THERE ARE TWO MAPPINGS INTERNAL TO THE CONTROLLER: RED AND GREEN. GREEN IS NOGO.
