This looks more like a bug with the airport (big shock there). According to the chart, there is no taxiway between the 13 ends, so ATC shouldn’t be able to route you that way. Taxying any underwing engined plane over gravel would be extremely hazardous - both to the plane due to gravel ingestion, and to anything or anyone behind due to blowing gravel kicked up by the exhaust.
