Hi @zejaylille, it sounds like you have some kind of peripheral, keybinding, or axis issue because it’s happening to you in every aircraft. I know you said you’d checked them all, but it really sounds like that is the issue!

My guess is that your rudder axis is faulty and keeps giving a full ‘ghost’ input

Hi Speed1994, thanks for you reply.
I had the problem on my two first Joystick, and thought it was coming from them (average quality of the Thrustmaster), but my Logitech X52 is definatly new (bought it yesterday).
I’ve checked on the Calibration pagen and nothing is moving like a “ghost” input.

What did you use for drivers for the X52?

Hi TheSevenflyer.

Thanks for your reply.
I installed them from the official Website of Logitech.

Try using this calibration tool.
It is about the only one I’ve found that works well with Saitek.

I tried it, thanks.
The result is franckly speaking OK. No “ghost” move.
I need to add one thing. The problem occurs only on ground. One im in the air, there’s no parasit move as we could imagine like (for example in the rudder). I was thinking about the scenery I installed for LFQQ, so I tried on other airport, and no better result.

What do you mean by shifting? are you sure its not just wind pushing you?
Depending on aircraft some degree of rudder input will be needed for taxi

Hi secretfarmerGal,
I mean the plane starts by turning to one side or the other at an angle of about 30°. I also thought about the wind, so I tried turning off the weather, and nothing helped. It’s as if the front wheel of the plane was stuck at the start in the full left or right position. Of course I then manage to catch up with it at minimum throttle, but I always swerve when I roll for takeoff.

Have you tried adjusting the reactivity setting?

My TFRP pedals have a bum dead zone after 4 years of use. I need to set a deadzone and a bit of curve to prevent my rudder from freaking out. And honestly it’s time for new pedals anyway

My old TM T16000m had a bad twist axis resulting in similar behavior and the inability to taxi straight (as I used the twist axis as a tiller)

If your driver’s are up to date,
And your calibration, curves and deadzones are all in order,
And your key binds are all correct (set to ‘rudder axis’ and not ‘rudder left/right’)
The AI assistance options are all off
And this behavior DOES occur in other flight sims (DCS, War Thunder, IL2, XPlane etc)

Then your hardware is likely on its way out. I replaced my joystick with a VKB Gladiator and I no longer have any issues on the twist axis
