Taxi Ribbon Dificulties

I find the default ones over the top large. They blot out the entire taxi way.
I’ve downloaded and tried the subtle taxi way from flightsim.to. Those are the opposite, extremely small. I mostly can’t find them. Especially at night.
I’ve searched and cannot find any others. I’m hoping I’m just missing it and someone will jump in and say hey, the perfect ones are over …
(FSX had very good ones for my usage)

How comfortable are you taking a HEX editor to your game files? In the post that @CasualClick linked, there is this one that shows how to change them to your liking. I tried this and found it to work for me. And you can tweak things as you see fit.

It appears that this specific file hasn’t been touched in any of the recent SU’s or WU’s, as I have not had to re-do my changes for quite a while.

Ooh! The link from @ccrbc is an official mod from the author of the HEX edit post I linked. I didn’t know he created a tool for it, so that’s great! Thumbs up from me, going to download it tonight!

Thanks for all the input. I’m fine with the editor (retired software engineer). I tried it a while back, but I think the other taxi ribbon update supersedes it (maybe?). All I saw was still the subtle one.
I just tried the animated one and it worked pretty good. I’m going to try the edit idea again.
