I’ve found it by accident, but I can’t find out how to move the map on the MFD. I have found a screen in the MFD the lets you move the map, but ■■■■■■ if I can find it now. Useful when creating flight plans.

On the GTC go to map, then push the lower right knob to enter pan mode.

Now you can pan the map either with the touch control that appeared on the GTC, or with the top right knob.

(This is from memory, but you get the gist)
