If the light is coming in at the right angle, there is a smudge on a TBM screen. I’ve noticed many times. What is it supposed to be?
These just seem to be fingerprint smudges that have been modelled. Nice little detailed touch!
That was one of the possibilities I considered but I just didn’t think they would add such a real-life detail. If so, I like it.
You also have planes with fingerprints and scratches in the glass. When it comes to the GA part of the hangar, the developers were quite detailed in their visual modelling!
I tap on invaded liquid that has dried again (behind the glass).
Oh, by the way, what does this empty bottle do behind the pedals?
I found with the right illumination you can see the same type of thumb prints in the upper right corner of the right touch screen of the TBM.
Amazing, that the programmers took the time to include such small details (in particular details that are not even always visible).
I saw a complete hand print on the upper right side window of my Cessna 172 once? Realism at its best!
A nice and creative work, this detail with the wetness as I mean!
I still think it was a liquid behind the glass. Really a nice job!
Don’t know how you manage to look behind the pedals. Are you sure it’s empty?
Usually that’s where the cyclinder for the hydraulically operated brakes is located
It was a plastic bottle-totally crushed. Had the feeling for some time that my rudder to the left has less dynamics. But what did not know is that the screen of my TBM also has a “touch function”. A defect from water?
It’s like some kid of fashion dress in Addins in my freeware Optica I see this, looks like metal corrosion of some kind… quite credible !

Looks like an easter-egg in this case and it definitely doesn’t affect the rudder pedal travel.
I’ll have to look for that bottle. I’m in the TBM almost every day on my world tour so there’s plenty of time to look around.
That’s also well done. I see it the way they do… Alumina or hydroxide, sulphate…, as usual. BTW if it bothers in the long term, my tip: With a perma marker something like this can be easily concealed (wipe away the loose leftovers beforehand… Important!!!).
In real life I believe you. For anyone who wants to repair this in MSFS freeware (Community) aircraft, it’s not very complicated to download Visual Studio 2019, open the DDS file and smudge it out a bit. Don’t forget to update the texture’s Mip levels when done
What’s that seagull doing there!?
I don’t understand. What confusion are you talking about? I didn’t doubt that it’s there.
Thanx for uploading the screenshot and I don’t see this bottle on my TBM.
It doesn’t look like a real bottle to me, more like a simple texture.
Are you using any mod and/or livery?
I thought her answer was related to a picture. The one with the bottle was just kidding. I hope this doesn’t overlook the appreciation for all the well-done details.
