Hi all, is anyone aware of upcoming fixes or workarounds for the TBM improvement mod by Mugz? I still can’t operate the ignition etc. And on the flightsim.to the version is still marked as to be verified on SU7.
I’m actually flying the original one, that’s acceptable, but I long prefer the mod…

The workaround I used was to have the broken switches mapped to a key-bind. This was for in flight controls. I didn’t start cold and dark, but you could bind ignition if you really wanted to.
I saw a post a few days ago where Mugz said that he’s now actively working on it. He was delayed because apparently some of the SDK was also broken but he’s found a workaround, etc

Strange problem I experience: my throttle lever is only going into reverse mode when I move it. I already reversed it in the controls menu, but that doesn’t work. I can do it manually. How can I change it?
It happens only to this plane.

I have the exact same problem with the TBM, the thrust will only respond in reverse. Making it unusable. Emptied the community folder except for the mod and still happens. I’m on the beta with Saitek yoke and quadrant. Removed the mod and reinserted the community without the mod and it works fine.

Did you try and reassign the hardware throttle to one of the other throttle axes in the sim?
I HATE the TBM’s throttle with a passion. There needs to be a key assignment for the gate switch from the feathered side to the power side, as using the mouse is hit-or-miss at best.

F2 and F3 on the keyboard are working fine.
Same here. Throttle movement is busted: moving throttle forward, puts throttle in reverse.
Removing the mod: no issue. Other planes: no issue.

Used it last night with my Thrustmaster Warthog throttle and it worked as intended.
Downloaded the version from the GitHub page, if that makes a difference.
Are you using stock MSFS or the public beta?
Stock. Just used it again tonight and the throttles worked fine.
The mod is currently not compatible with the beta version.
This was posted on the downloadpage of flightsim.to. It works for me:
If someone have trouble with reversed throttle (in Open Beta), try to remap to “throttle 1” axis. It should work. When next patch released - I will change behavior.
It caused by new Asobo changes (additions) in model files
Do you use the left-right mouse click combo? I do, and it’s never failed.
I do, but it’s not always 100% effective for me. I’m not sure why.
