TBM930 mod 6.3.1 throttle binding

When I was using the TBM930 mod 6.2, I had my Saitek X52 connect to the throttle with FSUIPC 7. Everything worked fine. Then when mod 6.3 and 6.3.1 came out it would work, but the throttle didn’t move. Now I’m having problem to get it to work right. If anyone has theirs working, can you tell me how you got it to work?

Check to see what the FSUIPC assignment is for.
If it is just for throttle, delete that axis and reassign your axis to Throttle1.
MSFS removed the general throttle command.

Well throttle1 doesn’t work for FSUIPC 7. Throttle1 in the MSFS works. However, as I barely move the throttle it jumps over to the left side, and I can’t do the low and high starting on the right side. I guess I’ll have to use the mouse to do the startup, then use the prop pitch to get back over to the right side when shutting down. Also, when I have setup in FSUIPC, it works, only the throttle doesn’t move on the screen.

That’s odd.
I have it assigned to Throttle1 through FSUIPC, works fine!
If it is still bound in MSFS, that would create a conflict and it will not work properly.

When I us FSUIPC I have them turned off in msfs. Where are the cfg files for the msfs kept, I’d like to look at them. Also, I did try Throttle 1, you could power the plane, but the throttle on the screen didn’t move.

A silly question, do you have the pause on? (P)
That will cause this to happen.

The files location depends on where you obtained the sim, MSStore or Steam.
Bear in mind, if you alter them, they will probably be changed back the next time an update occurs.
You can make the file “read only” but if the update requires access to that file, that can cause problems as well.
There are a lot of files there with gibberish, you will be looking for the ones that are language.
These are the default locations.

Steam:(x is the location where your Steam folder is installed)
x:\Steam\userdata[your Steam ID]\1250410

MSStore:
c:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\System AppData\wgs

No pause on. yeah, that’s a lot of files to look at. Right now I’m just using the mouse to low high for engine start, then prop pitch to shift to flight side. That all works. The throttle was the only thing affected when the 6.3 mod came out. I could still fly with my FSUIPC, only the throttle on the screen didn’t move. And I got the MSStore FS.

So the plane engine actually speeds up, its just the throttle image that doesn’t move?
If so, that could be a conflict with another mod in the community folder, or old conflicting files in the Rolling Cache.
If you have purchases from the MSstore, something in those might be causing that as well.

The thing is that Mugz 6.3.1 change the throttles, it said Asobo changed the throttle to throttle 1. However, I haven’t changed other planes that use just throttle and not throttle 1 for single engine planes in FSUIPC. And if I do use throttle 1, they still work as they should. If I put mod 6.2 back and remove 6.3.1 everything works like it should. So it has to be something in the mod.

It’s mostly addon planes that are affected by the throttle 1 issue.

I just did the latest Fs update, and everything is working BUT the TBM. If I try to load the latest Mugz, I get a CTD. If I remove the Mugz, it loads. But instead of FSUIPC, I use SpadNext, and it’s set up so that half Prop lever moves the throttle to the cross-over, and then moves it left if I push it further.

But like you guys, when I push the throttle to advance, the engine spools up, but the lever doesn’t move. Now, I’m using the stock Asobo TBM - the Mugz won’t even load. Any solutions to this? I may have to try the older Mugz version.
