TCA Captain Pack - Parking Brake switch appears to not toggle on the F/A-18

:green_circle: Regression Report

What peripherals are you reporting on:

Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack - specifically, the parking brake addon component (to the right of the throttles engine start quadrant)

PC Specs or Xbox?:

Ryzen 9 5950x, 64GB DDR4-3200 RAM, RTX 3090 24GB VRAM

Aircraft (if applicable):

F/A 18 Super Hornet

Feedback/Bug Description:

The parking brake toggle appears to not function from the Captain Pack quadrant add on toggle; I need to use the mouse (or another bind) to manually toggle the parking brake.

Screenshots (if applicable):

(PC) Are you using DX12?:

Have tried with both DX11 and DX12 enabled. Confirmed calibration is correct as it functions on other aircraft, including the other new aircraft as well as existing.

Cheers

I have Set Parking Brake On bound to a rocker switch on my Honeycomb Bravo and have noticed this behavior as well. The button does not appear to do anything except keep the brake permanently on.

This issue is not present if I disconnect my Bravo (thus undoing that binding I’m assuming).

Weirdly, if I tap the toe brakes on my CH Pro Pedals, the jet moves. It’s like slightly braking undoes the parking brake, but if I release the brake pedals, the parking brake comes back on and the jet stops. I can actually take off if I depress the toe brakes on the pedals just slightly. It undoes the parking brake, but isn’t enough brake force to prevent the plane from accelerating.

This might be off topic, but I have noticed this same behavior with all aircraft on the third party Frasca Field scenery since SU5 I believe. Every aircraft appears to be glued to the ground regardless of the parking brake setting, unless I slightly tap the toe brakes. Then they move.

Fixed in Sim Update 8.
